inspirasyon nakawala sa akin,
at pilit man habulin
kilometro na ang layo –
peste, lintik na buhay!

Ngayon
ngayon paano na
ang panaginip ng kabataan
para ngang bula
biglaan, pumutok!

Tatawa
tatawa na lang ako
sisigaw ng kawalan
habang bumabalik sa dati
sira-ulo, baliw!

Palipasin
palipasin na lang siguro
sapagkat wala nang bukas
narito na ang wakas
papalapit, nagmamadali!

I then used my mind
to determine my life

I ran from bushes to trees
swam the streams and seas
climbed steeps and mountains
but still nothing changed

body searching a soul

I live in the real world.

But that's an impossibility.
I insist in obliterating this dream.
By then, I could live my real world.

punched by fate
dreams changed
inspiration got away
through darkness
life a mess
resisted energy
pulled by dillema...

tricks re-act
lessons unlearned
persistence bids bye
road went back
again and again
life changes
now is dark
tomorrow is light...

the zenith harms
the nadir wounds
mediocrity answers
life relieved.
